One look at this adorable family, sitting peacefully by the creek, may have you day-dreaming of your own family photos. I consider it a privilege to capture families in photos that fully show their love for one another. Isaac is so blessed to have parents Joshua and Jensine to love and care for them with their whole hearts! What these photos do not capture is the chaotic process that happened in order for him to be here today. In some of these photos you will see a rainbow implemented. This is because Isaac is a rainbow baby, or in other words, Isaac is a baby that came after a previous… Keep Reading
Olivia and Jeremy are going to have a baby!! I’m so excited for these two! Olivia reached out to me over Facebook messenger to find out when I’d be in Indiana next and if I would be able to take some photos for them. When she told me the reason why they needed photos, I was sooooo excited! Keeping this secret from the rest of the family (Olivia is my cousin!), has definitely not been easy. So if you’re reading this, Mom, I’m sorry I told you Olivia and Jeremy wanted some photos “just because!”
Welcome to the world, Braskey Clark! You may not recognize him here, but I’ve photographed Braskey once before. The baby bump featured in this session was once little baby Braskey. Doesn’t he look so precious in his jeans and suspenders? Braskey’s little blue blanket bundle (try saying that five times fast) was set on top of an old Chevy truck. This truck has a special meaning though. You see, this truck belonged to his great-grandfather, who also happens to be his namesake. Braskey’s mama, Hope, contacted me to photograph Braskey and crew with this antique truck. Of course a truck this special deserves to have a few photos on its… Keep Reading
Some of you may not know that in addition to photography, I work full-time as an Art Teacher. Angelica Essary is a first grade teacher at one of the two schools I currently teach at. Teaching already requires a big heart, but hers may be the biggest, most welcoming heart I have ever known. During my first semester at East Hickman Elementary School, I learned that Angelica and her husband, Tony, had taken in one of her students. During the past three years, my coworkers and I have all watched her family fall in love with this boy, Will, more and more. Finally, on April 19th, 2017, Will was officially… Keep Reading
Over the Thanksgiving holiday, I asked Lindsay if she would mind me taking a few photos of her and her daughter, Fairah, in front of their new house (I like to call it the Girl House). The tree in front of their picture perfect home seemed to be in peak color, catching my eye every time I passed it by. Get ready, folks, because this is going to be a photo-heavy blog post! First of all, check out this beautiful house, complete with every girls dream bedroom window! Fairah is one lucky little girl!
